ASPRS 2011 runs May 1 5 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is one of the premier events for the aerial photogrammetry and remote sensing professionals. There are educational workshops, user group meetings, papers, keynotes, poster sessions, committee meetings and a classified session. Its a very full agenda, including a number of LiDAR sessions that attract the leading industry and academic professionals from around the world.
The Mobile Mapping Systems committee will be meeting at 11 AM on Monday. Since the first meeting last summer not a lot has happened, but plans are in the works to get things moving. Craig Glennie former Terrapoint VP of Engineering and now Assistant Professor at the University of Houston has been elected the new Chair of the Committee. I will be attending the meeting and will keep you informed.
I hope to see many of you there.
