Indoor Reality Announces Integration with ArcGIS Online

Berkeley, California, July 11, 2017 Indoor Reality announced today at the 2017 Esri User Conference, San Diego, CA, the latest update to its indoor 3D mobile mapping solution – integration with Esri ArcGIS Online. Now, building management professionals who need to see the location of assets, can do so with a seamless link directly from ArcGIS Online to Indoor Realitys web-viewer, said Founder and CEO, Avideh Zakhor.

ArcGIS Online from Esri is a complete, cloud-based mapping platform. Users can be up and running in a matter of minutes with ready-to-use maps, apps, and templates that include company data. Maps can be easily created and shared thought an organization. Critical location-based information is able to be accessed from any desktop, browser, tablet, or smartphone anytime, anywhere.

The Indoor Reality 3D mobile mapping solution consists of two wearable hardware systems for data capture, which share a common SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) pipeline in order to:
Create feature rich point clouds, and 3D CAD (Revit) models for BIM (Building Information Modeling)
Interactively visualize, and virtually navigate inside the photo-realistic 3D models via an intuitive web interface allowing for 3D tagging of assets, and dimension measurements
Automatically locate assets and people inside buildings (Indoor GPS)

The goal continues to be helping our clients make better decisions, Zakhor said, whether youre a maintenance engineer who needs to view the physical location of an asset, or a leasing agent interested in understanding the dimensions of a vacant unit, or a construction superintendent needing to monitor progress, you are now able to leverage this integrated solution to make better decisions that save money and time.
