Visitors interested in predicting landslides by integrating the ILRIS into their large mine infrastructure can also learn about the newly released Gexcel Open Pit Mine Monitoring System (OPMMS). Using Optechs flexible API, OPMMS automates the ILRIS to survey on a user-defined schedule, analyzes the data for hazardous or significant changes, and connects to the mine intranet to send alerts about potential landslides. Combined with its web interface remote control and download capabilities, OPMMS enables operators to precisely monitor their mine 24/7 from the safety and convenience of the mine office.
