SPAR International 2012 Biggest Edition Ever

9th Annual Conference on End-to-End 3D has 60 Exhibitors, 100+ presenters

April 9, 2012 (Portland, Maine, USA) SPAR Point Group announced today that the 2012 edition of SPAR International will be the largest yet, with 60 exhibitors, more than 100 presenters, 30 live demonstrations, 14 Technical Seminars, 10 mobile scanning rigs, 5 roundtable discussions, 3 User Meetings, a university pavilion and numerous association meetings, workshops and networking activities. SPAR International takes place April 15-18, 2012 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in The Woodlands (Houston), Texas.

Our goal is to educate users across multiple industry sectors about how they can use 3D imaging to improve workflows, save time and money, and reduce risk, said Lisa Murray, Director of SPAR International. By offering them a variety of ways to learnfrom attending sessions to networking with other users to qualifying solutions on the exhibit floor and more, we believe well accomplish this goal. Murray said that several elements at the 2012 SPAR, including live demonstrations, roundtable discussions, a Tuesday evening networking event and the university pavilion are new this year.

According to Murray, SPAR International has always been the go-to event for 3D data capture and delivery. The growth of the event, she said, is testament to the growing use of the technology across seemingly disparate markets including power generation, civil transportation and infrastructure, law enforcement and security planning, architecture, historic preservation and more. At the end of the day, they all want the same thing, said Murray. They want to work better, faster, safer, smarter and thats why they come to SPAR.
