Allen Cheves from our parent Spatial Media reports from a re-vitalized New Orleans that this years ILMF Mapping Forum is off to a great start with over 550 attendees from nearly 30 countries.
The opening plenary session was filled to capacity and booth space was sold out. All signs of an improving economy and the accelerating growth of the LiDAR and mobile mapping business.
The ILMF, as its commonly known, is now in its 11th year. Reports are that the City of New Orleans has bounced back from Katrina, and is once again pleasant to visit. The ILMF organizers should be congratulated for bringing the show to town.
I am sorry to have missed it, but starting next month with SPAR I have a show a month ending, for now at the ESRI Survey Summit in San Diego, CA.
