As a sign of things to come, Geoff Jacobs, Senior VP at Leica HDS sent an email announcing that the Leica HDS User Conference was moving to Florida and would now be held in conjunction with Intergraph and Hexagon conferences, June 7 -9, 2011. This will bring together laser scanning, airborne sensors, survey and engineering, machine control, and metrology from the Hexagon side, plus the extensive Intergraph software applications.
This is exciting news and the first opportunity to learn more about the much anticipated integration of Hexagon sensors and Intergraph software. As noted in previous posts this is a unique combination of hardware and software companies that can have a profound effect on a number of industries for years to come.
