January 12, 2016 – Minneapolis, MN Westwood Professional Services, Inc., (Westwood) is proud to announce the addition of three new associates who have contributed greatly to the success of the company.
August Christensen, PE is a professional civil engineer and leading project manager on Westwoods national wind and solar energy team. He joined the firm in 2004 and has overseen engineering and construction services on solar projects as large as 200 MW. His expertise and creativity, combined with his desire to ensure the best solutions on projects, has made him a significant contributor to his clients and Westwoods growing business. Christensen has a BS in civil engineering from North Dakota State University and is a registered professional engineer in Connecticut, Maryland, and Minnesota.
Westwoods vice president of finance, Steve Paradise, oversees the companys overall finance, accounting, and information services functions. He is a key contributor to the executive team, providing strategic vision and financial management. During his two years at Westwood, he has applied more than two decades of experience to instill sound business strategies, align internal teams, and accounting and reporting systems to deliver enhanced tools to support effective business decisions and methods. Paradise received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
As the director of information technology services, Jeff Saucier has greatly enhanced Westwoods information technology processes and systems since his hire in 2013. Westwood requires flexibility and scalability to ensure rapid and effective response to the constantly changing needs of its six business units, and Sauciers commitment to quality customer service and operational agility can be seen in significant enhancements throughout the firm. Saucier holds an associates degree in computer operations and has more than 25 years of experience providing IT Services in small to large firms.
