New Jersey point3D, a leading laser scanning consulting, sales and support firm, is excited to announce that we will be hosting an open house event titled A Day in the Field with a DotProduct DPI-7 Hand-held Scanner. The Day in the Field event, which is open to all interested parties, will be hosted February 6th 2015 at the Eaton’s Houston Experience Center. The event will run from 9 am to 2 pm and is intended to provide interested participants with the experience of using the DotProduct DPI-7 in a real world setting. Along with capturing data, participants will be able to experience the whole work process from capture to LFM Server database manipulation. Import into AVEVA E3D, Autodesk Recap and CloudCompare applications will also be available for demonstration.
The DPI-7 3D scanner is an amazing device that allows you to capture an accurate, detailed point cloud in seconds and quickly integrate it with your Autodesk or Bentley CAD applications. The DPI-7 combines the latest gaming technology with Android tablets to allow you to quickly scan indoor scenes ranging from entire rooms to intricate 3D piping and details.
