SEATTLE, Wash. Sept. 15, 2014 LizardTech, a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, is teaming up with Directions Magazine on a webinar titled Developing an Aerial Image Workflow for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The webinar will be offered twice on September 16, once at 8:00 a.m. EDT and again at 2:00 p.m. EDT. LizardTechs director of product management, Jon Skiffington, will present the webinar along with sales engineer Robert Parker. They will discuss how to process imagery collected with a UAV and provide options for image storage and delivery.
The webinar will cover the following topics:
The basics of georeferencing, mosaicking and orthorectifying imagery.
Possible image outputs, including orthomosaics, DEMs and point clouds.
Options for compressing and distributing imagery.
