You may not have realized this, but over the past three years GeoDigital has been very busy. We acquired five companies -Optimal, Terrapoint, Airborne 1, Image Tree and most recently Powel. During this same time period we had to ramp up our production facilities to meet the extremely high demand generated by the NERC alerts. With that work stabilizing we can now focus on increasing our industry leading production efficiency and our investment in next generation, geospatial business intelligence solutions.
As part of this streamlining process we wanted you to be aware that we are combining our two offices in British Columbia (Vancouver into Victoria) and California (Los Angeles into Lompoc); eliminating a Houston office and adding a new office in Denver. This gives us three main production centers (Victoria, Lompoc, and Ottawa); two software centers (Minneapolis and Denver) and two flight operations centers (Atlanta, GA and Santa Maria, CA). Less than 10% of full time employees are being impacted by this process with some staff relocating.
With offices now strategically located throughout the U.S. and Canada, GeoDigital is better positioned to efficiently deliver the highest quality products and services as well as work with our customers to continually improve our offerings.
