On a slow news day, a Google search on LiDAR turned up a new site lidarbasemaps.org. The site provides links for data, software and general education resources. Looks like we can thank Red Arrow Maps, the company that specializes in producing maps for sport and tourist use for this valuable site.
I want to also make note of the fact that the LiDAR News site now offers a Resource Directory where you can list your company, and post classifieds. There is also a separate Jobs tab if you have openings, which I think we are going to see more of as the year goes on.
