12x Fully-Funded 4-year PhD Studentships Available

The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Geospatial Systems, led by Newcastle University in the UK, has around 12 fully-funded (fees, tax-free stipend plus research training and support grant of £22,000 per student) 4-year studentships available for entry in September 2023. Applicants can apply for one of a number of different projects that are advertised at either Newcastle University or the University of Nottingham, or propose their own. The Centre welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and 30% of the available studentships are available for international applicants, with international fee top-ups provided by Newcastle/Nottingham. Students graduate with both MRes (year 1) and PhD (year 4) degrees. The deadline for applications is 29 January 2023.
