USACE St. Louis District Awards Surveying and Mapping Contract to Dewberry

Firm will continue to provide geospatial services

Fairfax, VA—april 25, 2022 – Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has been reselected for a five-year multiple award task order contract (MATOC) by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) St. Louis District for photogrammetric and lidar surveying and mapping services. Under the new contract, the firm will continue to provide a host of professional geospatial services, including photogrammetric mapping, photointerpretation, lidar acquisition and processing, aerial imagery acquisition and processing, ground surveying, geographic information services (GIS), and independent quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of draft geospatial deliverables.

The indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a total value of $22.6 million and consists of an initial 12-month ordering period with four additional 12-month options. The contract includes geospatial services performed both within the continental U.S. (CONUS) and outside the continental U.S. (OCONUS).

Under Dewberry’s former contract, the firm worked throughout the U.S.—from Alaska to Puerto Rico—supplying professional mapping and surveying deliverables to various Department of Defense clients representing more than 45 military installations. Deliverables included orthophotography, lidar-derived digital elevation models, ground surveying, planimetric mapping and feature extraction, onsite GIS support, and QA/QC expertise.

Under the new contract, the USACE St. Louis District will assign task orders to Dewberry on an as-needed basis to provide geospatial deliverables and GIS support.

“We’re looking forward to leveraging our diverse suite of geospatial services for the St. Louis District and its many customers under the new contract,” says Dewberry Senior Project Manager Keith Patterson, PSM, GISP, SP. “The expertise and geospatial data we provide enables USACE to more effectively implement installation management, land management, environmental mitigation, GIS implementation, and emergency management objectives.”

“USACE has been a valued client for Dewberry for more than 40 years,” says Amar Nayegandhi, CP, CMS, GISP, senior vice president. “We are pleased to continue to serve the Corps with advanced geospatial services to better inform its work around the world.”
