AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021 will take place as a hybrid event from August 16 – August 19, 2021 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
RIEGL will be exhibiting at Booth 2417 at AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021. Be sure to stop by in-person or virtually to meet with our team of RIEGL experts to learn about the latest developments in RIEGL unmanned Waveform-LiDAR technology and how we can help you and your business!
In addition, Eric Agnello, Regional Sales Manager for RIEGL USA will present “Solving the UAV LiDAR Workflow” in the Solutions Theater at Booth 3558 during Session ST002 on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. This presentation will provide into how several industries, especially the utility and energy sector can benefit from the innovations being made in refining complete UAV mapping solutions.
Throughout the week, we will have the following RIEGL UAV instruments on display:
The RIEGL VUX-1UAV mounted on Harris Aerial’s Carrier H6 Hybrid drone. The RIEGL VUX-1UAV is a very lightweight and compact laser scanner, meeting the challenges of emerging survey solutions by UAS/UAV/RPAS both in measurement performance as well as in system integration. With regard to the specific constraints and flight characteristics of the UAS, the RIEGL VUX-1UAV is designed to be mounted in any orientation and even under limited weight and space conditions.
The RIEGL miniVUX-3UAV mounted on FreeFly’s AltaX drone. The RIEGL miniVUX-3UAV is an extremely lightweight airborne laser scanner, designed specifically for integration with UAS/UAV/RPAS. The sister type of the proven RIEGL miniVUX-2UAV and RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV sensor offers a selectable 100 kHz, 200 kHz, and 300 kHz laser pulse repetition rate (PRR). With 300 kHz PRR, the sensor provides up to 100,000 measurements per second at 120° FoV and thus a dense point pattern on the ground for UAV-based applications that require the acquisition of small objects.
The RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV mounted on Watts Innovations PRISM X8 Coaxial drone. The RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV is an extremely lightweight airborne laser scanner, designed specifically for integration with UAS/UAV/RPAS.
The RIEGL VUX-120 is a lightweight and versatile airborne laser scanner offering a wide field of view of 100 degrees and an extremely fast data acquisition rate of up to 1.8 MHz. Thus, it is perfectly suited for high point density corridor mapping applications. The measuring beam of the RIEGL VUX-120 is consecutively scanned in three different directions: it alternates from strictly nadir to +10 degrees forward, and to -10 degrees backward.
The RIEGL VUX-240 is a lightweight airborne laser scanner, especially designed for use on UAS/UAV/RPAS and small manned airplanes or helicopters. With its wide field of view of 75 degrees and an extremely fast data acquisition rate of up to 1.8 MHz, the instrument is perfectly suited for high point density corridor mapping applications.
RIEGL is looking forward to a successful conference and to welcoming you to AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021! To register and visit the RIEGL booth, click here.
