GEO Business Virtual Forum is Launching Next Month

The team behind GEO Business have announced the launch of their new virtual forum, which will take place next month on 17-20 May.

The virtual forum will feature digital content, sponsored webinars and product showcases delivered in collaboration with GEO Business’s committee, exhibitors, industry partners and supporters. The sessions will cover a range of topics, including sustainability, COP26, the drive to net zero, the Locus Charter, data ethics, diversity, the future of the geospatial profession, and much more.

Portfolio director Ollie Hughes says: “As GEO Business has moved to November, we want to keep the community connected and mark the original May dates of the live event. So, we’re working with our committee and partners to bring our audience some great virtual content, running throughout the week in May when the show would have taken place.”

The sessions will be available to watch live through the GEO Business website and on-demand after they’ve occurred. The full programme for the virtual forum will be announced in the coming weeks (it can be found at www.geobusinessshow.com/virtual-forum).

As well as the main event on 17-20 May, GEO Business will also be hosting virtual exhibitor showcases and partner webinars throughout the spring and summer, with more details announced soon.

Call for speakers
At the end of May, after the virtual forum, the team will be looking forward to the November live event with the launch of the call for speakers for GEO Business 2021. They’ll be looking for speakers to join the line-up of experts and thought leaders presenting at the show (which takes place on 24-25 November at ExCeL London). Anyone interested in speaking at the event can register their interest now to be kept up to date with all the latest information about the show, including the call for speakers.
