As a recognition of the leadership role John Palatiello and John “JB” Byrd played in the enactment of the Digital Coast Act, the two were presented a “redline” copy of the new law by the White House. The members of the government affairs consulting firm of Miller Wenhold Capitol Strategies led the Digital Coast Partnership Advocacy Coalition that provided critical support that resulted in the bill becoming Public Law 116-223 on December 18.
