Sapera LT 8.60 offers a USB3 device manager for supported USB3 cameras and protocols.

Waterloo, Canada ─ November 24, 2020 ─ Teledyne Imaging, a Teledyne Technologies [NYSE:TDY] company and global leader in machine vision, is pleased to announce its latest release of the SaperaTM LT software development kit (SDK).  Sapera LT 8.60 offers a USB3 device manager to select supported USB3 cameras and protocols. Teledyne Imaging area scan customers can benefit from a unified SDK support across a wide range of camera interfaces from USB3 Vision and GigE Vision, to Camera Link, CoaXPress, and Camera Link HS.

The release of Sapera LT SDK 8.60 also includes enhancements to the Sapera Network package with improved CPU utilization when decoding 5GigE packets. This provides better performance for Genie Nano-5G  (5 GigE) cameras, especially in multi-camera mode. In addition, this new release introduces Sapera Z-Expert with a graphical configuration environment for rapid set-up and configuration of the Z-Trak family of 3D profile sensors.
