USIBD Opens New Cornerstone Report: Reality Capture Data Storage and Distribution

USIBDTustin, California – January 28, 2020: The U.S. Institute of Building Documentation (USIBD) is pleased to announce the opening of this new Cornerstone Survey: Reality Capture Data Storage and Distribution.

Reality Capture data sets are much larger than typical CAD or BIM data files, and this presents unique challenges for companies collecting more and more of this data every day. As a result, new solutions are coming to market to try and address these problems. The USIBD Technology felt it would be a great time to take stock of the current methods and challenges in this space.

The survey will be open from January 28th through February 27th, so please, when it arrives, take a few minutes and complete it.

The survey applies to all those who are working in and associated with the industry of building documentation. Those who contribute to this survey are eligible to receive a copy of the Cornerstone Report, whether or not you are a member of USIBD.

We thank you in advance for your participation in this survey. Your feedback is very important to us to advance the growth of the Building Documentation industry.

About the Cornerstone Report
The goal of these reports will be to provide unbiased industry user reviews of everything from hardware and software to general ‘State of the Industry’ breakdowns. They will be performed for two purposes: on a quarterly basis with reoccurring themes and sporadically to measure the industry for specific causes.
