Velodyne Lidar Announces Speakers, Panelists Lineup for Second World Safety Summit on Autonomous Technology

Summit to take place Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Levi’s Stadium

San Jose, Calif. (August 6, 2019) – Velodyne Lidar, Inc. today announced the full lineup for its World Safety Summit on Autonomous Technology to address safety issues and public concern regarding autonomous vehicles (AV). The October 2 event, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., brings together business, government, public safety and community leaders to explore the use of AV technology in a global effort to increase roadway safety. Keynotes from three industry experts will be part of the day’s events:

The Summit features seven expert panel sessions that explore ways to educate the public about autonomous technology in an effort to boost knowledge, address concerns and clarify issues.
