Fairfax, VA—September 28, 2018 – Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announced that it has been selected by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to provide surveying services for District 5, which includes Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia counties. This is the first surveying and mapping continuing service contract for large-scale projects to be awarded by District 5.
In addition to surveying, the firm’s services will include subsurface utility engineering (SUE), right-of-way mapping, consultant review, and unmanned aerial services. The contract team will be based in Dewberry’s Orlando office, with support services from several additional southeast offices, including DeLand, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Sarasota, Florida; and Atlanta, Georgia.
