Berkeley, California, August 17, 2018 – Indoor Reality announced today the latest update to its 3D mobile mapping solution – IR-200 and IR-100 – iPhone based reality capture systems which can be used for rapid, affordable floor plan generation of buildings and their assets. IR-100 uses an iPhone only and IR-200 is a rig consisting of an iPhone and a 360 camera. “Both products are natural progression from our existing handheld product IR-500, and can be used to create floor plans, summary report indicating square footage, surface area, volume, and tag assets during capture as well as post capture through our web interface. In addition, the IR-200, enables 3D interactive visualization of space after minutes of a walkthrough using Indoor Reality’s cloud processing platform. The 3D visualization of the captured data can be viewed on any web enabled device such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, or on virtual reality headsets such as Google Daydream.” said Founder and CEO, Avideh Zakhor.
Existing systems are bulky, large, expensive and take a long time to capture by having to move a tripod around inside buildings. “IR-200 and IR-100 democratize reality capture by making it affordable for all building professionals ranging from real state agents, to contractors, to insurance agents. To use IR-100, users simply download the Indoor Reality app from App Store with standard monthly subscription of $14.99. For IR-200, they would upgrade to premium subscription with monthly rate of $24.99, and purchase the Panoramic Kit for $599 from Indoor Reality online.”, Zakhor said.
IR-100 and IR-200 on iPhone became available on App Store effective August 15 2018. The Android version of the products will be available in Google Play Store in Q3 of 2018.
