McKim & Creed Manager Brings Extensive GDOT Experience to Atlanta Clients

AtlantaMcKim & Creed, Inc., a national engineering, geomatics and planning firm, announces that Christopher Amos Adams, RLS, has joined the companys Atlanta office as a senior geomatics project manager.

Mr. Adams has more than 33 years of surveying experience. A registered licensed surveyor in Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina, Mr. Adams is proficient at Georgia boundary and ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, Georgia Department of Transportation roadway and utility route surveys, topographic mapping, infrastructure inventory, geodetic control, GPS for control and state plane coordinates, as-builts, volume analysis and hydrography.

Chris has surveyed in the state of Georgia for more than 30 years, and has led dozens of survey teams to successfully complete numerous transportation projects for GDOT, said Tim Cawood, PLS, senior vice president with McKim & Creed. We are pleased to have him join our Atlanta team.

Mr. Adams is a member of the Surveying & Mapping Society of Georgia (SAMSOG) and the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), and serves on the GDOT surveying subcommittee of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
