3D Modeling Innovator Arithmetica Expands with Appointment of European Resellers for Pointfuse

Shepperton Studios, UK, 02 May 2017 Arithmetica, the company behind Pointfuse point cloud 3D modeling software, has announced the appointment of a further two international resellers; Mena3D in Germany and Geomesure in France. These latest partnerships follow the companys recent expansion into the US market and represent a significant milestone in the international growth of the UK based tech innovator.

Mena3D is an international specialist offering 3D solutions and services for both geospatial and industrial measurement. With headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, and offices in the Middle East and North Africa, Mena3D is ideally located close the middle European technical engineering center and on the doorstep of the expanding EMEA market. Mena3D offers a range of products, services and solutions across markets including traditional surveying and mapping, security and forensics, as well as aerospace and engineering.

Pointfuse bridges the gap between laser scanning hardware and specialist software solutions, making the vast amount of data that is captured manageable, usable and sharable, commented Dr Khaled El Nabbout, General Manager of Mena3D. Anything that makes our customers projects run more efficiently is a welcome addition to our offering.

Geomesure is the official distributor of Trimble topographical equipment in the South of France. With more than thirty years experience of supporting the surveying service industry in the region, Geomesure offers a wide range of Trimble topographical and 3D scanning equipment. Geomesure prides itself on a first call customer experience offering training, support and after sales service.

Being a Geomesure customer means having access to the most innovative solutions and the most efficient service, commented Lilian Degand, Prsident, Geomesure. For us that means partnering with the leading brands, such as Pointfuse, to ensure our customers lead the way in their chosen field and stay ahead of their competition.

The recent launch of Pointfuse V2 demonstrated a new paradigm in the processing of laser scanned point cloud data with improved accuracy and onward usability, added Mark Senior, Business Development Manager at Arithmetica. Pointfuse V2 also provided the momentum to expand the business by partnering with leading players in the global geospatial market, such as Mena3D and Geomesure.

Pointfuse V2 is a powerful modeling engine that delivers a fast, precise and flexible way of converting the vast point cloud datasets generated by laser scanners or photogrammetry into high fidelity vector models. Designed for anyone capturing or using point cloud data, Pointfuse V2 uses advanced statistical techniques to create vector models which can then be manipulated using any industry-standard CAD system.
