Orbit GT Unveils Mobile Mapping Feature Extraction v17 Features

Lokeren, Belgium, October 10th, 2016 – Orbit GT pre-launches the Mobile Mapping Feature Extraction v17 products with a stunning movie. Live demos will be available at Intergeo, Hamburg, taking place October 11th-13th 2016. Visit booth C4.039 in Hall 4.

The Orbit GT Feature Extraction v17 products are awesome new releases, says Peter Bonne, CEO of Orbit GT. With countless improvements and enhancements, for sure the Automated Detection and Parallel Extraction tools catch most interest.

The Automated Detection tools are a spectacular addition to the many manual measurement and feature extraction tools. A great variety of objects suhc as curbs, rails, catenary wires and more can now be detected and registered in your database with a single click. The Parallel Extraction tool allows for siimultaneous extraction of all assets along the roads axis. With each step forward, the tool automatically adjusts its direction (following bends) and snaps the features to the point cloud without any manual effort. These and many other great enhancements are included in v17, available today.
