Official Release: Phi.3D 2.0 & the DPI-8 Kit

Now shipping all units with next generation Phi.3D 2.0 software
After extensive beta testing and feedback, today marks the official release of Phi.3D 2.0. This powerful new iteration of our core software brings a vast collection of improvements to every DotProduct system.

With a fully updated user interface and touchscreen navigation, Phi.3D 2.0 produces an even more intuitive and user friendly device.Major feature additions include the ability to set the coordinate system on the tablet, append new data sets into the same coordinate system, take measurements in the field, automatically integrate AprilTags, and more.

Introducing the DPI-8 Kit powered by the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet
With the release of Phi.3D 2.0, we also announce the DPI-8 Kit as our most powerful handheld imager to date. This larger, more powerful imaging kit utililizes the NVIDIA SHIELD tablet to leverage 2 GB of RAM, an impressive 8" screen, the Tegra K1 mobile processor, and more. Trimble to Distribute the DPI-8 Kit Worldwide
In related news, Trimble today announced that it will also distribute the DPI-8 as part of a sharedobjective with DotProduct to make 3D scanning more accessible to the building design andconstruction market. The DPI-8 will now be available worldwide through Trimble and itsauthorized distribution partners, including the BuildingPoint network. Arena4D from Veesus now imports .DP files directly
We are excited to announce that Arena4D has now officially become the latest program to implement our DLL and directly integrate with DotProduct binary files. Our extremely compressed files will now make post-processing much easier for Arena4D users with the DPI-8. For more on Arena4D including a free viewer download, please click here.

The DPI-7 receives an excellent review on Aniwaa.com
