SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 22, 2014Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) announced today enhancements to its Inpho 5.7 software suite to address the needs of geospatial professionals engaged in the production of digital photogrammetry and LIDAR deliverables. The new software version offers faster automatic computation and improved visualization that combine to significantly reduce project time and costs.
Photogrammetrists can now reduce the time to produce deliverables by up to 75 percent through the use of expanded core processing and refinements to algorithms used to generate point clouds. In addition, the Inpho 5.7 software includes a new 3D point cloud viewer that improves visualization, navigation and editing of project data. Significant volumes of 3D data are now easily managed at the users fingertips.

Inpho software is designed to precisely transform aerial images into consistent and accurate point clouds and surface models, orthophoto mosaics and digitized 3D features using state-of-the-art photogrammetry techniques.
