The choice for Orbit GT software was part of a larger project incorporating the collection of mobile mapping data, appointed to Geomobis.
We are very glad that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) which provides service at world standards, has selected Geomobis and Orbit GT for this world class Mobile Mapping project Panorama Istanbul financially sponsored by Istanbul Development Agency and Ministry of Development of Turkey says Seluk Bostan , General Manager of Geomobis Mobile Information Systems . Within this project 4000 km main arterial roads will be scanned with our mobile mapping system. From this massive data, the Directorate of Road Maintenance and Repair of IMM will create asset inventories using Orbit GT solutions and this massive mobile mapping. GIS contents are expected to be used in all departments of IMM with support of Orbit GT solutions. In addition, this Mobile Mapping and GIS project will be a milestone for Istanbul.
