LizardTech to Host MrSID User Group Meeting in Austin

Company to promote software for compression and distribution of imagery

SEATTLE, Wash. Oct. 17, 2013 LizardTech, a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, is taking its products on the road. LizardTech will present at a MrSID User Group Meeting on Tuesday, October 22 at the Commons Learning Center in Austin, TX to show the geospatial community how compressing, manipulating and distributing aerial and satellite imagery with LizardTech products saves time and money. LizardTechs Genie Hays will give the following presentation:

Hays will also host product demonstrations to showcase the new features of GeoExpress 9, which is now four times faster and includes Intelligent Encoding. Additionally, product demonstrations will be available for LizardTechs Express Server software for high-performance image delivery and publication and LizardTechs LiDAR Compressor software, which turns giant point cloud datasets into efficient MrSID files.
