Merrick & Company’s GeoSpatial Team Offers Unmanned Aerial Mapping Services to Mexico

Greenwood Village, Colorado – July 9, 2013 – Merrick & Company’s (www.merrick.com) GeoSpatial Solutions (GSS) group is excited to announce that it has purchased an unmanned aerial system (UAS) to support surveying and mapping data collection projects in Mexico and Latin America.

Merrick purchased the RQ-84Z Areohawk from Hawkeye UAV (www.hawkeyeuav.co.nz). This new data acquisition platform will be based out of Merrick’s subsidiary, Merrick Advanced Photogrammetry of the Americas (MAPAR) in Guadalajara and Mexico City, Mexico (http://www.mapamerrick.com. mx/) and will be used to support cadastral modernization, infrastructure, agriculture, transportation and energy clients throughout the region.
