Creaform Appoints Alexis Wilcox as New Vice-President for EMEA Territory

Mr. Wilcox brings extensive experience in metrology for industrial applications to the company

Lvis, January 30, 2013Creaform, world leader in 3D portable measurement solutions, announces the appointment of Mr. Alexis Wilcox to the position of vice-president for the EMEA territory, starting January 1st, 2013. Alexis will be responsible for managing the sales teams and he will be involved in developing strategies for Creaforms subsidiaries in Europe, Middle East and Africa so as to reach annual sales and business development goals.

Alexis has more than 15 years of experience in metrology for industrial applications, more specifically in sectors such as industrial electronics and industrial automation. He has held executive positions for companies such as Hirschmann, Knrr and Datamars. Most recently and just before joining Creaform, he acted as managing director for Central Europe of the TESA Division at Hexagon Group. Alexis has extensive experience in building and managing routes to markets as well as an expertise in the distribution of industrial investment machinery equipment and industrial consumer goods. Alexis has a masters degree in engineering from the University of Texas and Heriott-Watt University of Edinburgh (Scotland) as well as a diploma in marketing management.
