Sponsorship seeks to advance education and research in flight technology and engineering

announced it is sponsoring the University of Toronto Aeronautics Team (UTAT), a group of over 100 undergraduate and graduate engineering students with a passion for aerospace design. The UTAT participates in national and international competition related to the aerospace industry and is committed
to providing a venue for students to challenge themselves and further their personal development in a competitive and social environment.

In addition to powered and unpowered aircraft competitions, the UTAT in 2012-2013 is competing in three new competitions in the areas of Rocketry and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). The team is responsible for the design, construction, testing, presentation, and technical white papers associated with their product for each respective competition. Beyond competitions, the team is also active in the community by promoting engineering design and the aerospace industry.
