Digidoc 12 – New Technologies for Archaeology, Architecture, Design and Cultural Resources

Bookings are now being taken for Digidoc 12, the leading international conference on new technologies in relation to archaeology, architecture, design, and heritage. From October 22nd to 23rd, Digidoc12 will bring together some of the worlds most influential academics, experts and visionaries to present and discuss the application of state-of-the-art technologies and digital innovation. This years conference will include speakers from the United States, Germany, Spain, France, UK and Kenya – from Pixar Studios to the Smithsonian.

This is our 4th conference organised by Historic Scotland and Glasgow School of Art, but the first to be held in Edinburgh, Scotland. Similar to our previous events, the 2012 conference will be of particular interest to those working in the built environment, museums, education, archaeology, media, gaming and technology sectors.

A two-day ticket to the event costs 175 and includes entry to networking event at Edinburgh Castle on the evening of 22nd October. There are a limited number of one-day tickets available. We are offering a small number of free student places for students interested in presenting a poster of their research. If you are interested please contact hs.cgevents@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
