Lineup to include metrology experts and users, techniques, and applications
North Kingstown, Rhode Island March 19, 2012 Hexagon Metrology announced today its speaker agenda for the Hexagon 2012 International Conference, being held from June 4 7, 2012 at the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas, NV. Customer application stories and educational presentations will be delivered by leading organizations including: GE Inspection Technologies, Naval Air Systems Command, SEAT division of Volkswagen Group, Lowell Inc, Metal Technologies Inc and motorsport teams Red Bull Technology and Hendrick Motorsports. Generating Content for Virtual Reality Using 3D Scanned Data will be presented as well as a session on using the Total Desirability Index to zero in on critical features when using colormap inspections. An update on changes in the GD&T standard, and workshops on SPC and Gage R&R techniques will also be offered. In the PC-DMIS User Track, the industry leading PC-DMIS 2012 software package will be officially released, complemented by demonstrations and hands-on workshops covering all the new features, plus best practices and programming techniques.
