This video provides a short look at the use of BIM Building Information Modeling and perhaps more importantly VDC virtual design and construction as it applies to the new Freedom Tower in New York City.
Laser scanning is a critical 3D measurement technology in the practical application of VDC. It is a risk management tool that can be used to monitor field progress.
Its great to see this tower rising on this site.
