I have had 2 follow-ups to the recent post on consumer scanning both are beta products, and both are websites that offer a service. Its not exactly software as a service like SalesForce, but you may disagree.
The first is a product from Viztu Technologies called hypr3d. The basic idea is that you upload 9 images of an object and they build a 3D model. Have a look.

The next is from KataLabs and the product is called OurBricks. The idea is to provide a high end browser environment for editing and serving 3D models. The simplicity is compelling.
