When the owners of 123 Main Street in Lexington, KY wanted to restore what was once the Phoenix and Third National Bank they turned to GRW Inc., a local architecture and engineering firm with expertise in 3D modeling and laser scanning.
GRWs Schook said that the reconstructed facade wont be an exact replica, because we dont have precise information of what it formerly looked like. But with the aid of LiDAR, they can determine what still remains with more precision.
